Building the Future...

My Students

This new unique school is focused on creating an environment to inspire all learners. We support a wide variety of learners from TK-6th grade in a growing community.

Our school is filled with dreamers and life-long learners eager for the next challenge they will face and all with empathetic hearts.

Along with our general education and English language learner population, we serve students with a variety of special needs.

The students who attend our school are passionate about exploring the "whys" in the world and we, the teachers, are determined to provide them with the opportunities to follow those passions.

One would think that because we are a newer school we have a great deal of money, but this is far from accurate. Much of the funding for the school has been dedicated to many of the basics that other schools have in place and no longer need such as furniture and library books. This leaves our school with limited funds to expand our program to exciting levels of interactive learning.

My Project

Inspiration is vital in today's classroom. The Piper Computer Kit help open those doors.

So many students are exposed to and use current technology but have little understanding of the complex nature of it.

When students have the opportunity to build their own computer, this mystery and complexity are revealed. Students can then make the connection between math, science, engineering and more.

Students will have the opportunity to build their own computer. Piper provides the means from them to do this complex task. Without a Piper Kit students would not have the means to understand how difficult it is to engineer a computer of their own.

The Piper Kit provides the bases to build upon. Help me inspire tomorrows engineers.
