Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

We are an energetic group of eager learners. Each day is a new adventure in learning. Our children come from mostly low income families where homelessness is a common factor in many of their lives. Our goal is to do our best to be the first smile they see each morning and to provide a secure and positive learning environment for our students. Because most of our students speak Spanish as a first language, our focus is giving them as many English learning experiences as possible.

My Project

We currently have wonderful equipment for our coding and robotics programs and now, we need iPads to utilize them to the fullest. Our Chromebooks have a difficult time connecting to the Internet and Bluetooth in our building.

Trying to run programs through USB cords is cumbersome, as well as time wasting, so iPads would help to expedite our lessons so students can take their learning to another level.

Please consider donating to this important project so we can be the best versions of ourselves. We have an extraordinary team of students who cannot wait to get their hands on this STEM opportunity.
