Every kid wants to feel like a professional athlete when they play, but without proper resources and equipment, this can be a challenge! Our kids deserve the best and nothing less! These specifically requested items will provide a superior training experience. Mini goals play a vital role in soccer practice from little kids to the premier league. Currently, the mini goals we do have are broken with torn nets and flimsy construction. Our soccer balls do not hold air or meet the specific requirements to be considered a competition-worthy ball. These girls deserve to practice as they play!
My goals for this project go far beyond the purchase of a couple of soccer balls and a few goals.
I want the girls on my team to feel that they are a priority and deserve the best we can offer. This team deserves far more than I could ever offer them, but proper training equipment would be an awesome first step to showing them just how important they are.
Our team is special, and I know coaches always say this but hear me out! This group of players has endured some of the most difficult circumstances that a high school sports team could endure, yet they persist. Continuing to be model students, fantastic players, and even better human beings despite every opportunity to give up and quit, they simply keep going.
