My Students
Some of my students enjoy reading . I would like to provide them with high interest novels that they can make connections with. I have selected books that focus on several topics such as self esteem, bullying, and overcoming tragedies. The students will have discussion about the book
My students are from New York and they attend a small school. I have students on various reading levels. Majority of the students come from various cultural backgrounds. Some students are motivated about reading but not enough students really like reading.
My Project
These resources will keep my students engaged and interesting in reading. I would like my students to become young adults who love to read. I would really like to see my students enjoy what they are reading and not just read because I say so, but because they want to and enjoy it.
Reading is essential! These books will be used not only for this year's students but students to come. TOO many people are not reading or can't read and I do not what that for anyone or my students.
