This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

The goal of the project is to make sports more accessible for students with disabilities. This basketball game will bring fun, physical activity, and confidence-building to students who may face challenges in participating in traditional sports activities.

The Escalade Sports Big Shot II Basketball Game is a highly adaptable and accessible game that allows students of various ability levels to enjoy basketball and it can help build essential skills like hand-eye coordination, focus, teamwork, and motor skills.

Its features like dual hoops, compact design, and electronic scoring, makes it suitable for students in wheelchairs or those with limited mobility. This game will help meet their physical education goals in an adaptive, encouraging environment.

The basketballs and Escalade Sports Big Shot II Basketball Game will offer a consistent opportunity to engage in physical movement and teamwork, which may otherwise be limited.
