This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Our students are passionate about badminton—but we’re missing the basic equipment to help them thrive. As the coach of our growing Badminton Club, I’ve seen firsthand how this sport builds confidence, teamwork, and resilience. Unfortunately, many students share worn-out rackets or play without proper birdies, limiting their ability to practice and compete.

We’re requesting a set of durable badminton rackets and birdies so every student can participate fully.

These items will allow us to run inclusive practices, host friendly matches, and foster a sense of pride and belonging. For many students, this club is more than just a sport—it’s a safe space to connect, grow, and shine.

With your support, we’ll empower our team to play with confidence and represent our school with pride. Many of our students come from underserved backgrounds and don’t have access to sports equipment outside of school. By funding this project, you’re helping level the playing field—literally—and giving students the tools they need to succeed both on and off the court.
