This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Designing and building with KEVA Planks will give my students an opportunity to strengthen their STEM skills. It is meaningful when students can engage in a hands-on learning experience, and these materials will provide that for them.
Adding KEVA planks to my STEM class will give students the opportunity to follow the Engineering Design Process in a fun and engaging way.
Students will explore, plan, design, create, test, and improve their ideas by interacting with KEVA Planks. While engaging in different design challenges with their peers, students will also work on the important life skills of the 4Cs: Collaboration, Communication, Creativity and Critical Thinking. Help me build the future generation of engineers!
