it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
In our classroom, providing a supportive and nurturing environment is key to helping our students thrive, especially those with unique sensory and behavioral needs. To achieve this, we're requesting sensory toys, pillows, cleaning supplies, and snacks. The sensory toys and pillows will create a calming space where students can self-regulate and focus better on their learning. These items are essential for students who need a sensory break or a quiet moment to re-center during the school day. Snacks play an important role in our reward system, which helps motivate and encourage positive behavior. Students work hard to earn these rewards, and the snacks serve as both an incentive and a way to celebrate their successes. The cleaning supplies are necessary to maintain a clean and healthy classroom environment, ensuring that our space remains welcoming and safe for all our students. Your support will make a significant difference in our ability to provide these essential resources and create a positive learning environment where every student can succeed. Our BSS students are remarkable for their resilience, individuality, and the unique perspectives they bring to our classroom. Each student has their own story, challenges, and strengths that make them truly special. Their determination to overcome obstacles, coupled with their ability to grow and adapt, inspires us daily. They teach us the power of perseverance and the importance of celebrating even the smallest victories. In our BSS program, we recognize and honor these qualities, knowing that every step forward is a testament to their incredible potential.
