My Project

I am trying to get some new prizes for the incentives box to reward good behavior including pencils, erasers, stress balls, magnetic drawing boards,and candy. Last year my students loved being able to choose matchbox cars and playdough. I am asking for the plastic containers because the box that I was using belonged to the school where I was teaching. Students love earning "desk pets." These little creatures sit on their desks. Students can then trade them with classmates during indoor recess on rainy days or play with them during inside recess.

The focus of my prize box is to give students many different choices of prizes.

The prizes can be kept at school for indoor recess or taken home. Students get excited about all of the choices and work hard to be able to earn them.

There are many different ways they can earn prizes, such as having the cleanest desk, showing their work (correct or not), completing weekly class jobs, demonstrating they know what to do when they enter in the morning or getting ready to leave in the afternoon, and earning a set amount of Dojo Points each week. (Dojo is our behavior system that holds students accountable for their actions.)
