Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Monday through Friday, I come prepared to teach wonderful and capable groups of students. They are bright-eyed, eager learners who are our future doctors, lawyers, engineers, and leaders.

The iPad will allow for problem-solving strategies and models to be directly displayed to students in an engaging format that meets the different learning styles of a diverse group of students.

It will also make lessons interactive and fun by allowing students to share ideas and thinking that can be directly displayed. Additionally, the iPad will capture student and class work that can displayed, worked on, or referred to later, maximizing classroom time and space.

The Apple pencil will create an opportunity to share and showcase student thinking through writing and drawing. It will also be used to model strategies, take notes, and annotate student work that can be projected for all students to see.

The mini port will expand the iPad's functionality by allowing for data transfer and printing. Student work, notes, and models can be saved or printed for later reference. In addition, the charging cable will ensure Apple devices can always be charged when needed.

Lastly, the speaker will allow for sound from the iPad to be projected. This will allow all students to hear what is being played, maintaining focus and interest. Additionally, the speaker will be used to play music, which has been linked to increased academic performance and emotional health.
