Building Strong Readers: Decodable Books for New Readers

Help me give my students a variety of decodable books they can use to practice and enjoy the new phonics skills we are learning in reading intervention.

My Project

I am a reading interventionist. I work with students in kindergarten through fourth grade who struggle with reading. They need to be explicitly taught phonics in a systematic and structured way.

These books will help my students gain confidence and foster a love of reading.

Once they begin learning phonics skills, they need to be able to apply and practice what they've learned by reading real books.

Please help us build a different kind of classroom library; one filled with books that students can decode based on the phonics skills they're learning in class and in their reading intervention sessions.
