My Project

Hello! I've spent 14 years teaching third grade in my school, and next year I will be moving into a new role as a math and reading interventionist in my building.

In my new role, I will be supporting intervention students in overcoming learning obstacles in reading and math in order for them to become more confident learners.

I would love to be able to fill my new classroom with resources, manipulatives, and seating that helps my students feel inspired and feel more confident accessing reading and math concepts.

The colorful stools would be so inviting and motivating to have in my new intervention classroom so students feel excited to come learn each day. The hands-on manipulatives and visuals would help our struggling readers and mathematicians to access learning. The books and reproducibles would help me supply students with practice resources that are based on the science of reading and better equip me with an even stronger knowledge-base to help students achieve and soar.

Intervention students are a very special group because they have unique learning needs and their abilities are often left untapped until they blossom under the wings of an interventionist. My goal is to have the resources and tools available to help each student grow to their fullest potential so that they can feel confident in school and to feel confident to achieve their dreams.
