My Students
Structured Preschool classrooms are filled with a variety of needs and abilities and an age range of 3 year olds to ones that can turn 5 during the school year. Our children have various goals ranging from fine motor tasks to build strength in their hand muscles, social skill goals to improve taking turns, as well as language goals to help with communication.
Engaging our students is top priority!
They thrive on hands on learning. And that's what we would love to gain from this incredible experience of Donor's Choose.
My Project
There are so many benefits to having materials that practice letter recognition, one-one correspondence, and sequencing while providing fine motor strengthening. Children are challenged to use their critical thinking skills. When working in small groups it provides opportunities to work on social emotional skills such as sharing and/or taking turns, and problem solving. During Virtual Learning, the children will get a chance to use these materials, rotating them through. There will be how-to videos so the children understand how they work. We would be grateful to receive such a wonderful gift.
