This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Covid-19 has affected my students in many ways: socially, emotionally, and physically. Students are readjusting back to school and have been doing well socially. As the physical education teacher I am focused on he physical aspect of their life. Students were highly stationary during COVID-19 and they are now getting back into physical movement. This new equipment will allow me to create obstacle courses for the students to improve their gross motor skills. All students in grades Pre-K through 6 will benefit from this new equipment. Students who move increase their social and emotional well being as well.
