Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
The students who visit the library are always asking for creative and hands-on activities. I am working towards providing them with a variety of STEM-focused resources that allow them to collaborate in small groups to learn different skills. The Picasso tiles requested in this project are great for students to use when working in small groups to build structures and racetracks. The bright colors and user-friendly nature of these magnetic shapes, make them a perfect resource, and the sets are a popular library table challenge. Students will enjoy designing with these tiles and they will learn valuable engineering skills while enjoying them.
