it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
These phonics and science book sets will help build my young student's literacy skills. Practice with phonics and comprehension in science books gives them the opportunity to use critical thinking skills while reading. These skills are important when my students are participating in their science classroom.
My goal for this project is to give my students access to phonics practice to build their literacy skills while reading nonfiction books focusing on science concepts.
My students are a resilient and eager group of young learners. I work with students with disabilities ranging from UTK to 5th grade. My students love going to the science classroom to participate in activities and conversations about science, technology, engineering, arts, and mathematics.
