Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I teach a wonderful group of kindergarten students. My students are full of joy and curiosity and are always eager to learn. They are kind, resilient, and love engaging in activities that are hands-on and fun. They are naturally curious, constantly asking "why?" and "how?". To truly nurture this curiosity and lay a strong foundation for future learning in science, technology, engineering, art, and math (STEAM), we need the right tools.
This project is designed to help my students develop critical social skills and problem-solving through the use of LEGO and magnetic tiles.
These skills are foundational for their social-emotional growth and will also help them build relationships with their peers.

My goal for this project is to give my students the tools to practice and enhance their social and cognitive skills while enjoying the process of learning.
