This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
As a self-contained, special education teacher, I find that my students need additional opportunities to develop social skills. Having games in the classroom can allow students opportunities to build on their social skills such as turn taking and conversation skills.
The opportunities to challenge one another to an educational game will allow them time to improve their social emotional needs in the classroom.
The games selected will require thinking and communication skills. Providing opportunities for students to learn though games, will help build confidence, and community in the classroom. Thank you!
