My Project
Calm Strips allow students to ease anxiety in the classroom and are not distracting other students. These strips are easy for students to handle, or can be stuck under their desk. The goal is to ease their anxiety.
The emotional face mats and emotional coin box will allow students to identify emotions and understand how others are feeling as well.
The goal would be for students to understand how each situation is related to a different emotion.
With these new items, and others, in our social emotional room, the students will learn how to explore many feelings. The students will be able to build on their skills such as sharing, engagement, and understand how to be a great friend!
