Building Skills Through Play for Preschoolers with Autism

Help me give my students bubbles, sensory toys, and a small whiteboard for shared writing.

My Project

To help my students develop fine motor skills, practice communication, and build social connections, I am requesting a set of engaging tools and toys. The Learning Resources Build and Spin Farm Friends and Rainbow Busy Board will allow students to strengthen hand-eye coordination while learning to take turns and problem-solve. The Fisher-Price Bubble Maraca will encourage movement, rhythm, and shared joy during music and sensory play.

The mini dry erase whiteboard will be used during large group lessons to model shared writing activities that support communication and learning.

Sticky notes and weekly planner pads will help with classroom routines, visual schedules, and teaching students how to follow step-by-step tasks.

These materials will provide multi-sensory opportunities for learning and helping students strengthen fine motor control, practice communication, and increase independence while having fun.
