My Students
I am a speech-language pathologist working with amazing 6th, 7th, and 8th graders who attend a New York City public school. Our school is well known for its diverse population, of staff and students, and for being one of the most diverse schools in NYC. Our students come from all five NYC boroughs to attend this school. All students are eager to expand their learning and knowledge, and I am looking forward to helping and working with them this year!
My Project
I am a speech therapist in a low-income DOE middle school. Many of my students don’t have access to the materials they need. These materials will make a difference in my student’s learning because they will provide them with multiple ways to work on their speech skills. Having the TPT gift cards will allow me to purchase materials specifically for my students. It will also allow me to provide my students with worksheets/readings that they are interested in (for example, I am not a big sports fan, but many of my students are)!
