My Students
I love teaching 5 and 6-year-old Kindergarten students. I am in my eighth year of teaching at a Title I school. My students are very inquisitive and love learning.
My goal in Kindergarten is to help my students meet rigorous core standards in Literacy.
I will accomplish this goal through Daily Literacy Activities.
My students love highly engaging, hands-on activities during Independent centers. I am requesting alphabet magnetic letters for students in my Kindergarten classroom. They will build sight words and sound out CVC words by placing letters on the magnetic board and then write the words for practice.
My Project
My kindergarten students are in a full-day Kindergarten class at a Title I school. They are inquisitive and they need hands-on activities to learn new literacy skills.
They especially love Literacy Centers, so this project will focus specifically on materials for Literacy Activities.
I am requesting hands-on learning materials perfect for 5-year-old Kindergarten learners in Literacy Centers. All students will be able to use Lowercase Alphabet Magnetic Letters to build Sight Words and CVC Words and then practice writing these words.
These letter manipulatives will be especially helpful for all English Language Learners. English language learners need to have manipulatives to help them have concrete examples to learn new concepts.
