My Project
COVID-19 has impacted our students socially, emotionally, and academically. At our school, we have a team of 5 teachers who are our reading support team. This team is helping struggling readers between Grades 1 to grade 5. The donated supplies will help close the learning gap and improve our SEL for our struggling reading students.
These materials will be used to help motivate our readers to continue doing their best in their reading skills.
Every item like the motivational pencils will be given to our students to encourage our students to keep doing their best and striving for success. The donated supplies will help encourage their self-confidence as readers and motivate the students to continue trying their best in reading! It is a positive opportunity for all of our keiki or children to improve their reading skills and give them extra encouragement in strengthening their reading.
At our school, we have many students who need extra encouragement to become stronger learners and readers. The donated supplies are all high-interest, fun, and motivational items that our keiki would like to have as positive incentives for reading success! Each donated item will be given to our keiki as a positive incentive for them to keep doing their best and successfully reading each week. In light of COVID-19, these donated supplies will help our keiki build their confidence, improve their SEL, and become stronger lifelong learners and readers!
