This project will impact my marketing students. It aims to teach students essential entrepreneurship skills while integrating mental health awareness. Students will engage in lessons focusing on business planning, marketing, and financial literacy, complemented by content related to stress management, mindfulness, and emotional intelligence. This project requires the use of entrepreneurship books, mindfulness resources, and supplies for hands-on business projects.
This project will create a student-led initiative focused on raising awareness about mental health in the school through entrepreneurship.
Students will develop their mini-businesses aimed at promoting mental health, such as wellness products such as stationery like notebooks, puzzles, folders, mugs, bottles, and other school necessities. Students will design apparel such as shirts, hats, bags, custom pillowcases, and more. Students will be able to sublimate images using sublimation ink and paper as well as cut-out adhesive vinyl to attach positive and encouraging messages for their peers. Students will use a hat press to press positive affirmation patches onto hats and will be able to customize all items to promote mental health and feel better about themselves.
The goal of this project is to empower students with entrepreneurial skills while promoting mental wellness and resilience.
