My Students

My preschool classroom is usually a child's first experience at school. They come to school eager to learn. I want to encourage learning through hands-on activities. "My" kids live in a small community and come from a range of economic backgrounds. Our school has 100% free breakfast and lunch for all students.

My goal is to provide my students with experiences, opportunities, and adventures which otherwise would not be available to them.

I know DonorsChoose.org can help me provide these experiences for "my" kids.

My Project

My students love to listen to different stories! They are a very happy, fun group of preschoolers who yearn for lots of learning. They are always enthusiastic during reading time. We are eager to explore our theme: The Three R's: Reducing, Reusing, and Recycling

These books, like Recycle Everyday, will introduce the theme and help develop skills which will stay with them for a lifetime.

We will use these books to explore both fiction and non fiction stories about recycling. Through this theme my hope is by having students active and aware of their impact on Earth now, they will become adults who are more conscientious about how their actions can impact our planet.
