My Students
My students are a very loving group! If I had to describe them in three words, they would be: thoughtful, genuine, and creative! They are eager to learn their multiplication facts and cursive this year! My students come to school each day ready to grow, learn, and take chances.
Many of the students in my class do not have the resources at home to complete their assignments.
I see each child and their strengths and want to foster their love for all things. They have a wide range of abilities and interests. Many are talented artists! They love being able to be part of their learning and when they can be creative I see wonderful results.
I look forward to a year of exponential growth for each of my students!
My Project
Students need time to play and create. I have a small set of Magna-Tiles in the classroom already, but there are not enough to allow for all students to build together. These are an amazing tool to help build spatial awareness and cooperative play.
Carpet spots are a nice way for students to feel more comfortable when reading, encouraging more time being spent focusing on the task.
I am looking for a safer way to allow reading around the room, while still allowing students to visually recognize how far apart they need to be.
