My Project
In our middle school language arts classroom, reading isn’t just an assignment—it’s an opportunity for students to explore new ideas, connect with their peers, and discover books they truly enjoy. To make reading more engaging and meaningful, we are launching in-class book clubs based on student interests and reading levels. These book clubs will allow students to choose from a variety of high-interest novels and come together in small groups to read, discuss, and grow as readers.
To run these book clubs effectively, we need multiple copies of each novel so that every student can participate fully.
With your support, we can provide full sets of engaging, age-appropriate books for each group. This ensures that every student—regardless of background or ability—has equal access to the resources they need to succeed and feel included in the reading experience. These books will also be part of the classroom library when not being used by a book club.
By donating to this project, you’ll help us build a dynamic classroom library that supports choice, fosters a love of reading, and builds community through shared stories. These book clubs will not only strengthen literacy skills but also give students a voice and a sense of ownership in their learning. Together, we can create a classroom where every student sees themselves as a reader.
