These essentials will not only keep our classroom running smoothly but will also show my students that there are people out there who truly believe in their potential. That lesson alone is priceless.\r\n\r\nThank you for investing in their future and for helping us kick off this school year with excitement and possibility. The excitement on their faces was priceless some even volunteered to unpack and organize everything right away!\r\n\r\nWe are already putting the resources to work. For example, during a recent small-group math activity, students were able to use the new manipulatives to visualize fractions and ratios in a hands on way. One student who usually struggles with abstract concepts proudly explained her reasoning to the class using the new tools something she had never felt confident enough to do before. Moments like that remind me how powerful the right resources can be. These materials have made our lessons more interactive and engaging, helping students see math not as a list of problems to solve, but as something they can explore and make sense of together.\r\n\r\nNext, we'll be using the resources in an upcoming project where students will design and present their own real-world math scenarios. I can't wait to see their creativity shine as they apply what they've learned.\r\n\r\nThank you again for opening these doors for my students. Your generosity continues to ripple through our classroom every single day.","fullyFundedDate":1748440533457,"projectUrl":"project/budgeting-life-real-world-math-for-7th/9360251/","projectTitle":"Budgeting Life: Real-World Math for 7th Graders","teacherDisplayName":"Dr. Heath","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://cdn.donorschoose.net/images/placeholder-avatars/272/teacher-placeholder-6_272.png?auto=webp","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/10037031"},{"teacherId":8782822,"projectId":9275190,"letterContent":"When the new resources arrived, my students lit up! The rolling whiteboard instantly became our go-to spot for working through integer problems together. With the new pencils, markers, paper, and highlighters, students were able to model integers visually and color-code their work, which made understanding positive and negative numbers so much easier. The Clorox wipes also helped us keep our learning space clean and ready for group work.\r\n\r\nOne moment that stood out was watching a group of students confidently explain how to solve an integer problem to the class, using the whiteboard and the new markers. The tools gave them the confidence to take ownership of their learning and teach their peers.\r\n\r\nRight now, we're continuing to build on those skills with more challenging multi-step problems involving integers. These resources will keep playing a big part in helping students practice, collaborate, and grow their math confidence every single day.","fullyFundedDate":1746785602032,"projectUrl":"project/starting-the-next-school-year-off-right/9275190/","projectTitle":"Starting the Next School Year Off Right","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. K. Having enough supplies meant every student could fully participate, and their excitement in using fresh markers and paper was clear in their enthusiasm and final products.\r\n\r\nWhen the materials arrived, my students were overjoyed. Some even said, \"It feels like Christmas!\"—a simple reminder of how much having basic resources can mean to them. These supplies have kept our lessons running smoothly, ensuring that no student falls behind due to a lack of materials. Moving forward, we are diving into hands-on projects that require collaboration and creativity, and because of you, my students can focus on learning rather than worrying about not having what they need.
