My Project

We need high interest chapter books and picture books, to encourage second graders to read more.

This grant would enable students to expand their education through books!

Reading books helps children stimulate their imagination and expand their understanding of the world. There are so many more benefits that reading books provide including mental stimulation, stress reduction, knowledge, vocabulary expansion, and so much more.

My second grade students are so excited and happy to have D.E.A.R (Drop Everything and Read Time) daily! We just need to fill up our library with books that they can't wait to read!
