Help me give my students Treehouse Imagination Builders, Alphabet Learning Locks, Load-It-Up Recycling Truck, and hands-on materials to teach key concepts in preschool developmental learning.
I teach an amazing group of preschoolers who have great interest in learning and exploring. We have many languages and ability in the classroom. We work together to share, be kind and help one another grow. We start school early in the morning and some of us stay at aftercare until early evening. Our day is filled with many different learning experiences and opportunities many of which are driven by the students' interests. We look to use our materials in different ways, recycle and reuse.
We love to share with our preschool friends.
When we come up with terrific ideas we share them and the materials.
My Project
Students will benefit from hands-on materials such as the Build and Play Tree house when we are learning from our tree study. Trees give us many things, one of which is wood. We all need shelter and wood is what many homes are made from. Students can explore building concepts through trial and error in the creation of structures. Math skills such as counting, shapes, sizes and patterns can be explored. In our insect study, students explore and learn all about insects, arachnids and other creepy crawlers. The Real Bugs Discovery Kit would provide a safe way to see real life bugs in a not so scary way. Students can pick their favorite insect and find out more about the environment they live in, how they help or hurt the ecosystem and maybe not be too scared of insects anymore!
Hands on materials are so important to encourage interest in learning.
The alphabet and number games would make learning letters, literacy and math concepts fun while also helping with sharing, taking turns and self-regulation skills.
