This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Success doesn’t always come easy, and learning to push through challenges is an important skill for students. I want to provide my students with Rubik’s Cubes, puzzles, and a strategy-based activity to help them develop perseverance in a fun and engaging way.
When students work on a Rubik’s Cube or a puzzle, they face moments of struggle.
Instead of giving up, they learn to problem-solve, try new strategies, and keep going. These activities build patience, resilience, and critical thinking while giving students a much-needed break from screens.
Rubik’s Cubes strengthen spatial reasoning and persistence. Puzzles promote logical thinking and creativity. The additional activity fosters teamwork and strategic decision-making. These resources will make break time more than just a rest; it will be an opportunity for growth.
