My Project

My students love to make music and learn about the world around them through playing instruments! Their absolute favorite classroom instrument is the xylophone. My students have played music from around the world, improvised their own melodies, even learned about the science of sound waves through our xylophone. I have loved sharing these moments with them, but we only have one instrument for as many as 30 students!

Instruments like the xylophone make music class exciting for students, and open the door for them to learn about so many other subjects.

If we had another of these such instruments, we would be able to share more excitement and learning within our classroom.

Ms. Shelton will only receive her materials if this project is fully funded by September 5.
