My Project
Providing my youngest learners with a solid mathematical foundation is critical not just to their mathematic success but to their literacy success as well. Research shows that strong math skills often coincide with strong literacy skills. Strong math and literacy skills with lead to life long success for students.
These materials will help students to keep materials organized and accessible for continued use.
The large plastic envelopes will be used to store all 30 weeks worth a materials according to the week they are taught. The large bin will be used to store the envelopes while not in use. The bowls will be used to store manipulatives in that coordinate with the weeks activities. With materials organized and easily accessible, we will be able to use them year after year and lead students to a solid mathematical foundation that will hopefully provide them with a solid literacy foundation as well.
