Do you remember what it was like the first time you read a book that you couldn't put down? My students have just started the journey of loving books. Building my Listening Center will allow my students to listen to books on CD. Literacy is extremely important to my students.
My 21 students are inner city students who attend a charter school.
Their parents chose a charter school because they wanted a better, quality education in a safe learning environment. They are good, hard working students who just want to do well and be successful.
My Project
My students have been learning to read this school year. These books on CD will enhance their literacy. I have asked for new headphones and books on CD set to build my listening center. The students will be able to listen to the Books on Cd during our morning center of Daily Five, when they Listen to Reading.
Your donations will be helping the leader of tomorrow. We need to instill that reading is fun and what better way then to show them at an early age. Please support my students who would love to read!
