Building Our Knowledge in Our Community

Help me give my students the ability to become familiar with animal habitats! Children can read all about animals and their homes in a community library for our classroom!

My Project

Please help build on our community awareness of our animals and their habitats living in our community prairie! The service project our students would like to create is a community informational nook of non-fiction animal books to place beside our nature windows looking out onto our community prairie! The students will mentor younger students in the books they chose to read! Please help us build it, and students will come and fill the nook with books about animals and their habitats to create an awareness of our precious animals and how to care for them! We want to better understand animals and their needs in our community and create better readers! This will be a spot for the whole community to come and read a book, or add a book, or read to a buddy, or draw a picture of the ever-changing prairie. Let our students be the leaders and listen and help the younger readers, and take care of our prairie and its animals!
