This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
I am the luckiest teacher in the world! My scholars are amazing, creative, and eager to learn. They come into 3rd grade with a drive and a passion to learn that is contagious and inspiring. I am an advocate for their learning and hope to inspire a lifelong sense of curiosity and growth.
My scholars bring a wealth of experiences into the classroom- which includes struggles and obstacles, but also stories of bravery, determination, and perseverance!
I am lucky to be the one to highlight these amazing qualities and inspire them to find their path to success.
I look forward to teaching many more generations and continuing to inspire, challenge, and dream together!
My Project
Our school is getting ready to open our first Makerspace/STEM room! We will have building materials like tape, cardboard, LEGO bricks, recycled materials and more. Please help us add to our new space with KEVA planks, high-quality wooden pieces that will encourage students to build their own architectural designs. We have also heard amazing things about Strawbees, pieces that can be motorized and coded with Microbit circuit boards.
The space will be open for teachers to tinker and plan amazing lessons, and also for students to be creative and show their learning in different ways!
