My Students

My students come from many different cultural backgrounds and a diverse area in our school district. They display varying skills, abilities and knowledge while some students are bilingual. Our classroom strives to provide an engaging, fun and safe environment while meeting the needs of each child.

My students participate in a center based classroom with some students identified as having a disability.

They range from 3-5 years old and are like sponges at this stage in the learning process. My students are imaginative, creative and are building many foundational blocks of knowledge to carry with them through their education.

My Project

Block area is another area in the classroom that is popular. Having the proper materials is important in this area for students to not only have fun, but to use their imaginations.

I love the block area because the students get very creative.

The new blocks will allow students to build cities and towns. They can use the new beams to start the framework for buildings. The new blocks will allow them to create arcs and tunnels. They will discover various types of buildings with the architectural blocks.

Having these materials will allow my classroom block center to be updated and will allow my students to have new and awesome things to explore and play.
