My students bring such joy to my life, and I am thankful to be their teacher. We seriously have some of the best students in our small town elementary school. I know that every school and every teacher says that, but I know just how amazing our students are.
We are over 60% free or reduced price lunch, but together our community, parents, and staff work together to get everything we need.
I am so grateful to have wonderful people like you also partnering with us to help get our students everything they so deserve.
My Project
I am always excited to try to find activities that are best for my students!
They are very active.
They also love to do hands on activities.
This past weekend I attended a conference and they had a session on Bloxels. I immediately saw many activities that my students would love to do with them. I could see my students creating settings and characters. What an engaging way to wrap up books that we read.
I've also been watching my students use our small set of Magformers each Friday during Maker Space and also during the rainy days of spring. My hope is to give them even more parts so that they can build even bigger, more complex creations.
Lastly we have been doing breakout EDU during different times this spring. Sometimes the directional locks give us issues, so I want to make sure I have backups on hand if this happens again.
Each of these items will add even more engagement to our classroom. Students learn so much from hands on experiences. Thank you for joining with me to provide these.
