My Project

This upcoming school year will be my first as a self-contained classroom teacher, and I am beyond excited to take on the responsibility of teaching all subjects — including reading! As I step into this new role, one major challenge I face is that I do not have any classroom books to start with. That’s why I’m reaching out for your support to help me create a rich, welcoming classroom library that will inspire my students to fall in love with reading.

A strong classroom library is essential in helping young readers grow.

It provides them with the opportunity to explore different genres, connect with characters, and build a lifelong love for books. I’ve carefully selected a diverse range of titles — from funny favorites like Diary of a Wimpy Kid and Dork Diaries, to timeless classics like Charlotte’s Web and The Chronicles of Narnia. There’s something for every reader, no matter their interest or reading level.

With your help, I can give my students a library that invites curiosity, choice, and joy — even on the very first day of school.
