I work with a great group of preschool students that come from varying ethnic and socially economic backgrounds. Our students come in every morning enthusiastic and ready to learn. They are a very energetic, talkative and fun loving group who love to ask questions. Our school is located in a low income community. We strive to provide a safe learning environment for our students.
Hands-on learning is what our energetic students need to succeed.
We are trying to provide more of this learning style to prepare our students for higher grades to come. Our goal is to provide our students with a preschool learning experience that they will carry with them for years to come.
We would like to provide our students the chance to use their imaginations to learn through building with different types of blocks and block play materials! We have the normal unit blocks available, but we would love to add to what we have to really bring out some ideas and different ways to use blocks!
The students will use their imaginations to create endless other things using blocks and block play materials.
They can make communities modeled after our community, zoos, amusement parks, bridges, roadways, and many many more things! They will be able to create and design an infinite number of projects and activities! We can't wait to see what our students will create using these materials!
