My Students

My students are eager learners who need hands-on experiences to master abstract concepts. Inquiry is the standard in our school. Making mistakes and problem-solving are key elements of the day. Hands-on learning is exciting for children. Developing an understanding of the world through questioning will make my students problem solvers in the future. Poverty should not prevent inquiring minds from experiencing science and math the way it is meant to be experienced; hands-on! Give the gift of experience and inquiry.

My Project

My students are eager learners who learn best through hands-on experiences. With the current situation, my students are learning at home the majority of the time. I would like to be able to send home math manipulatives to help them become successful.

Remote and Hybrid learning can be difficult for students, let's give them hands-on learning experiences at home!

Children need hands-on learning opportunities to help make abstract concepts more concrete. I want to give my students the same learning opportunities that they would receive in class at home. I am asking for base ten blocks to help my students build number sense and confidence with a variety of concepts such as place value, addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
