This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Mental health issues among students, including anxiety and depression, are increasing, and traditional therapeutic methods often fall short in addressing their diverse needs. By integrating LEGO sets into the library's resources, we aim to create a safe, engaging environment where students can express themselves, develop coping strategies, and build social skills. Stocking the library with a variety of Lego sets, including themed sets, classic bricks, and advanced models, will offer students a creative outlet for emotional expression, enhance their social skills through collaborative projects, and teach problem-solving and stress management techniques. Help us build a stronger, more resilient student community and enhance the school library as a hub for mental health support.
