Building Math & Reading Fluency!

Help me give my students games to build math fluency, and tools to help build better readers!

My Project

My students are kind, fun, and passionate about learning! They love to share ideas with one another and brainstorm solutions to problems. I like to create a classroom environment where my students feel like they have space to share and grow.

We are working hard on our math and reading fluency this year!

The math games I have selected for my classroom, will help students build their addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division fluency. These are essential skills that we work on in third grade and help build the foundation for math in future years to come. Students will utilize these math games during center time and during early finisher time. These games can be played with peers or individually.

We are also working to help build reading fluency this year. I have many ESL students this year and I need additional language resources to help them build their confidence in reading and writing. The word family cards and leveled readers provide both the visual and phonological awareness that help ESL kids to be more successful with reading and writing. These materials will be used in a small group setting as well as independently.

I am so excited for all of my students to increase their fluency in both math and reading!
