Building Math Fluency

Help me give my students access to materials like Hand2Mind math fluency kit to help build their fluency to help build a necessary foundation for them to grow mathematically.

My Students

These scholars are a collective, colorful group of learners! There are some students that meet you each day with a smile and a hug. Then there are some that need the smile and hug from me and anyone in the building. And despite their challenges they come with a desire to learn and aspire to greatness.

When they learn something new and make a connection with real world experiences, you should see the light bulbs going off.

Our classroom theme is Howard University Bisons, which exposes them to options greater than what they could imagine.

At our school, "All roads lead to college!"

My Project

Using the Hand2Mind math fluency kit will help my scholars build fluency in math. They will also improve their fluency skills which will help them to meet the standards for first grade. They will be able to master making tens using the ten frame playing cards along with all of the other hands on materials in this fluency kit.

I want to do everything that I can to help my scholars catch up, keep up, and move up while building math fluency.

During the pandemic our scholars were not able to complete their Kindergarten year so with the Hand2Mind fluency math kit, they will be able to bridge the learning gap while they are at school. I also want to provide enrichment for my scholars that are on grade level. Help me to help my scholars to attain their goals to become the leaders of tomorrow. Thank you for your support.
