Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I love how curious, hardworking, and determined my students are. Every day, they come to class ready to grow, even when the material is challenging. They ask thoughtful questions, help each other learn, and always try their best. The resources I’m requesting; grid composition notebooks and sticky notes will help them stay organized and visually understand math concepts, which is especially helpful for problem-solving. The literacy posters will support their reading and writing by giving them a clear reference for commonly confused words and key literary elements. Name tags will help us build a stronger classroom community. The magnetic graph sheets will make math lessons more interactive and help students better visualize data and equations on the whiteboard. Each of these resources will support their learning and confidence in a tangible way.

The goal of this project is to provide my students with essential organizational and visual learning tools that will help them better understand math concepts, improve literacy skills, and stay engaged in their learning throughout the year.
