it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I’ve been lucky enough to receive many of the musical materials I need to start Mason Elementary’s first elementary music program! There’s just a few more classroom essentials I need to make a perfect classroom for these students to experience quality music class on a regular schedule. There are so many ways to teach music to these age groups, from listening to performing to movement - each of these modalities require different materials to help students appreciate music in a way that they understand best. Music is also proven to help students in other academic areas, as it’s such a diverse content area, so by supporting Mason’s music program, you’re supporting these students’ learning in all areas.
