My students need leveled books sets to get just right texts into their hands so they can become better readers. I am asking for help with purchasing four book sets.

Our classroom is filled with budding readers, who are thirsty for new books. Their excitement and love of reading is contagious. We are asking for help to build our classroom library.
There is nothing more exciting than seeing a group of 25 kindergarten students pouring themselves into their books.
They love to choose a cozy seat and dive into their reading. However, our current classroom library does not support reading on their current level. Not only do we not have enough materials, but the materials that we have gathered, while being wonderful and loved storybooks, are not leveled for kindergarten readers. The book sets I hope to purchase will bring in over 100 kindergarten level books into the classroom for daily use, allowing the students more frequent choice and more text that they can read.
My Project
Our goal is to make sure each student has a personal book box brimming with books on their level so that they can gain reading time and keep their excitement always on the forefront. Through this project, their love of reading can be jump started from the beginning - and will help to build lifelong readers. The materials purchased will lend to our reading and writing workshops, helping the students go even further in their learning.
A classroom accessible with just right books will allow the students to have colorful, engaging books to work on reading with their "super powers" that they are learning.
My dream is to create the ultimate environment for my students - from colorful decorations, comfortable reading spots, loving teaching, and plenty of materials to maximize their learning.
The addition of these on-level reading sets will open the doors to what I can teach them by providing the materials they need to apply the skills we are learning each and every day. These children are our future, and your investment in them today will make a lasting impression.
