Building Literacy With Books Students Love

Help me give my students engaging books to practice the reading strategies they are learning.

My Project

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, many of my middle school students are several grades below their grade level in reading. To support their growth, I need engaging, high-interest books that will allow them to actively practice the reading strategies we are learning in class. When students have access to books that capture their interest, they are more motivated to apply these strategies, strengthening their comprehension and confidence as readers.

Learning to read is so much more engaging when students can practice with texts that excite and inspire them.

By providing my students with compelling and relevant books, I can help them develop essential literacy skills while fostering a love of reading. Please help me give my struggling readers the resources they need to make their reading practice both meaningful and enjoyable.
