Building Literacy Through Small Groups

Help me give my students a Kidney Shaped Table so I have a setting where I can better support my students through small group instruction; from writing workshops to reading discussions.

My Project

This kidney shaped table will serve as a collaborative space for my students to come together in small groups and learn from each other as well as receive more one on one personalized instruction from me.

From writing workshops where students work together to improve certain writing skills to reading discussions where students bring their ideas and questions about a common text, this table will be a point of community and cooperation for my energetic and talkative students who love sharing and expanding their understandings of the English content.

Having this personalized learning experience will provide my students with the confidence to be life long learners and readers!
