This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
All students learn differently. How about helping them develop a story using wordless books to enhance their literacy skills? Today, we ask for wordless books so our students can start writing using words they know and build their skills. Wordless books help students communicate with their existing vocabulary by describing what they see. This will create an opportunity to be introduced to new vocabulary words.
This way, students are in charge of what the story is about rather than depending on others to read it to them.
This form of book allows them to experience literature without language barriers.
